Unfortunately, I see it again and again — a girl posts or comments online in the fetish community, and her DMs are instantly flooded with creepy, unwanted messages and requests. Having a fart fetish is already isolating enough, but not even being able to post or participate without harassment only adds to that loneliness. Guys, we have to do better. Let’s stop being creeps and work to make this community a more inclusive and respectful space.

I always knew the fart fetish community was mostly made up of cis men, so I was pleasantly surprised when I started meeting women who were into farts as well. While not as common as in men, there are far more women in the community than people might expect. I love and appreciate the diversity in our community, and I truly hope to see us become even more inclusive and supportive. Men, women, straight, gay, bi, trans, non-binary, ace, and everyone in between — all should feel welcome here.

It’s frustrating how guarded women have to be in almost every setting. As a man, I will never fully understand what it’s like to be a woman in this world. But what I can do is my part to create a space where women can safely express themselves without fear of harassment or creepy behavior.
